Assistant Cashbook Accountant

We are looking for an Assistant Cashbook Accountant (1 post) to join our Finance team.
The Assistant Cashbook Accountant will support the Cashbook Administrator in posting cashbook entries, preparing and posting journals and maintaining an accurate and up to date cashbook for Group and all associated entities.
You will support in maintaining an accurate and up to date cashbook for Group and all associated entities. This includes posting cashbook entries using bank statements and posting journals. You will also assist with project activity to improve process for posting to the cashbooks, liaising with finance colleagues where appropriate.
You will be required to liaise with finance teams where necessary to ensure all income and expenditure is reported in the month to which it relates and in accordance with accounting standards, and also provide support to finance teams and advise where appropriate to support finance team objectives.
The successful candidate will have a GCSE in Mathematics or equivalent, as well as experience of managing cashbooks and banking reconciliations and of of managing and reporting financial performance information.

This role is home based and there is no requirement to attend the office daily, but you will be required to attend neighbourhoods and/or sites as required to fulfil duties of the role.
