SUMMARY

Ground Control is looking for an Accounting Manager to drive its growing suite of accounting services. This involves overseeing the work done for clients as well as developing internal systems to deliver these services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Accounting Manager oversees three main areas:

• The accounting services provided to our clients including bookkeeping, payroll, AR/AP, Reporting, and coordinating with tax specialists

• Ground Control’s internal systems for delivering accounting services to clients including the accounting staff, workflows, and tools used

• Building expertise and IP related to accounting for our clients

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience managing SMB / startup accounting systems either in a corporate setting or accounting firm.

• Ability to manage projects across multiple clients, managing deadlines and teams made up of superiors, subordinates, peers, contractors, and clients.

• Expert knowledge of Quickbooks, MS Office Suite, and Google Workspace.

• Ability to develop systems that can be managed by other team members consistently with a high degree of quality.

• Ability to learn new systems and find resourceful solutions to challenges.

Pay: $52,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
