Islington Council Hiring for HR Adviser (Maternity Cover) at London Full Time

The role provides a high-quality end to end Human Resources advice, guidance and ER support services to Headteachers, Governors, School Business Managers, staff and related stakeholders.

This is a varied role and an opportunity to develop your skills and experience working with the Schools HR team in a wide range of areas including employee relations, reward, resourcing and training development.

The ideal candidate will have a collaborative and positive approach, can do attitude, be proactive, reliable and responsive. Clear and effective communication skills are vital. Previous experience in an HR role providing first level HR advice is required along with a professional approach and the ability to build effective working relationships.

• Contractual details: Full time, 35 hours per week, All Year Round
• Grade: S01 – P01 (£32,868- £38,148 per annum)
• Roles: 1 maternity cover role for 10 months
• Start date: April 2022 or as soon as possible afterwards
