The job holder will have the opportunity to learn and apply a wide range of techniques including CRISPR-based genetic and epigenetic editing strategies, molecular biology (molecular cloning, RT-PCR, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, chromatin immunoprecipitation), and advanced tissue culture (human pluripotent stem cell maintenance and in vitro differentiation, cell transfections). They will assist with the design, implementation and interpretation of experiments. Other responsibilities will include preparation of reagents, maintenance of stocks and assisting in the day-to-day running of the laboratory.
