JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA Hiring for Associate Software Engineer, Explainable AI (XAI) Job at London, England Full Time

You will focus on projects around Explainable AI (XAI) and Optimization. Explainable AI is becoming more and more important within the firm, given the need of explaining how the AI/ML models make decisions.

You will work with the XAI researchers to understand their code and with your team-mates evolve that into production quality code that can be integrated into our existing risk and trading systems.

Core of the business problem we are looking to address

• Understand AI/ML models being used on the trading desk (including motivation, libraries)

• Use AI Explainability techniques (e.g. SHAP, LIME) to explain trading recommendations/decisions
• Integrate these seamlessly into the trading systems
• Provide real-time visualizations for analysis by traders, researchers and risk managers

Skills required:

• Proven track record of developing high quality, production code in Python
• Great interpersonal skills and able to interface with data scientists, risk managers and quantitative researchers
• Experience as a hands-on developer
• Financial Industry front-office development experience an advantage
• Experience in AI an advantage, interest in AI a must!
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes an advantage
• Experience with Corporate Risk system development an advantage
• Interest / understanding of statistics and optimization techniques is an advantage
• Experience of integrating new tools/libraries into frameworks is an advantage
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
