Viking Life-Saving Equipment Hiring for Finance Director Job at Miami, FL Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance (Finance Director) to oversee all financial and HR aspects of business. We are looking for a professional with broad knowledge to all accounting, financial and HR principles. He/she is an strategic thinkers and effective leaders who can make the most profitable decisions.

Responsibilities

1. Planning of the work in the department so that it is functional and in accordance with the U.S. Law, Rules and Regulations and/or other applicable law (s).

2. Ensure that all activities in the accounting department are carried out in accordance with external and internal rules and regulations.

3. Preparation of and production of timely ad hoc and periodic (monthly, quarterly, yearly) reports, accounts and budgets of the Employer required by the Viking Group in coordination with shared services.

4. Establish and update efficient procedures for credit, accounts receivable and payables in coordination with shared services.

5. Business partnering – to develop successful, long term, strategic relationships with all stakeholders (internal/external), based on achieving best practice and sustainable competitive advantage.

6. Improve financial planning and analysis capabilities to better forecast key business metrics and support decision making

7. Preparation of budgets and forecasts for the company in accordance with the requirements by the Viking Group in coordination with shared services.

8. Following up on budgets and forecasts and explain deviations to realized.

9. Manage and report on Cost Management and Profit Improvement for the Region.

10. Preparations of the corporate tax return and payroll tax return.

11. Prepare and ensure a timely execution of the yearly Audit (including the Tax Audit) by the Auditors appointed by the shareholders.

12. Yearly/periodical negotiations of salaries with the employees in the accounting department and warehouse.

13. Controlling the cash flow including foreign exchange.

14. Contact to tax authorities, banks, lawyers and auditors.

15. Determining the adequacy of overall business insurance.

16. Human Resources for Viking USA, incl regulations, benefits, payroll outsourcing etc..

17. Development of training & education schedules of employees under supervision.

18. Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks

19. Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems

20. Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors etc…

Skills

• Proven experience as director of finance or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
• CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
