Adams Morey is looking for a skilled and motivated *DAFaid / Workshop HGV Technician *to join our Salisbury team, with an exciting move to a brand-new site in Andover planned in the near future.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of workshop-based repairs and roadside assistance work, providing first-class support to our customers and keeping commercial vehicles operating safely and efficiently.
*Salary: *Dependent on experience (will be discussed at interview stage).
*Working Hours: *Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.30 pm, plus call outs when on rota, i.e. 40 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid) with two 15 minutes paid breaks.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to commercial vehicles and trailers.
* Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
* Providing roadside assistance and recovery support through the DAFaid service.
* Completing inspections, MOT preparation, and preventative maintenance.
* Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
* Maintaining accurate job records and paperwork.
* Delivering excellent customer service both in the workshop and on-site.
*Ideally, we are looking for:*
* Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Workshop Technician.
* Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* A full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable, but not essential).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A positive attitude and commitment to high standards of workmanship.
