Electrical Senior Authorised Person (SAP) Full Time NEW

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with strong HV/LV expertise to join a project on a rotational basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation, control, and authorisation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and procedures.

• Initial 6-12 month contract

• Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for HV/LV systems

• Control, issue and manage permits to work and switching operations

• Ensure safe isolation and energisation of electrical systems

• Review and approve switching schedules and procedures

• Maintain compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations

• Provide technical guidance and supervision to site personnel

• Conduct risk assessments and ensure all work is carried out safely

• Liaise with project teams, engineers, and contractors

Requirements

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Accredited High Voltage Senior Authorised Persons Course (essential)

Experience

• Proven experience working as an SAP on HV/LV systems

• Strong background in electrical operations and switching

• Experience working on EPCM projects
