At WolfePak Software we’re a tight-knit team of high-achievers putting our customers first in the US Oil & Gas software market since 1986. Fintech at our core, we integrate out into the entire midstream supply chain.

Scout, one of our main products, needs a Lead who can take it from already successful to the next level. You’re a hands-on coder and architect who leads by example. You’ll implement, mentor and interview to fill out your team. You see the pragmatic path through a problem. You understand what it means to plan for change. Balancing short term vs long term goals is your superpower. You’re humble yet outspoken when required.

Scout’s tech stack includes JavaScript, Nodejs, Restful APIs, HTML5, AWS Lambda and a sprinkling of more – but we believe good developers can learn what they don’t know.

You will:

· Evolve Scout as it matures and takes on new customers

· Champion important concerns like maintainability, performance, scalability, security, compliance and privacy.

• Lead stand-ups, retros, code reviews and story reviews.
• Architect for features and cross project integrations.
• Interview and hire software developers.
• Mentor the team, provide feedback, and hold members accountable.
• Promote good process and best practices including Agile, Unit Testing and Domain-driven Design.

We’re looking for:

· 5 years’ experience building full-stack projects with a strength in back-end architecture.

· Experience leading teams

· You live in the USA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Node.js: 3 years (Required)
• Leadership: 3 years (Required)
• SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
• front-end development using React, Vue or Angular: 3 years (Preferred)
