Purpose

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for the oversight and implementation of the facilities training program. Gather information for training course creation, creating training schedules, and resources to help support new employees along with existing employees.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide the management of administrative activities to ensure proper tracking, trending, and qualification of all Granges employees
• Conduct and build all training programs for the company by being out on the floor and learning each position
• Monitor training requirements while motivating employees to achieve safety, quality and production performance
• Conduct training audits while correcting deficiencies during job training
• Conduct new hire orientation
• Lead the classroom/on-the-job training development and on-going maintenance of all training programs, course materials, procedures, and assessments to satisfy management
• Remain up to date on topics in production training and maintain any relevant certifications and skills
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of all training programs
• Will use and make videos for training purposes
• Strong presentation, training, and group facilitation skills: familiar and competent with audience-engagement methods and techniques appropriate for all levels of employees
• Hands on position and will be out in the plant
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, and / or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years training experience (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
• Strong demonstrated expertise in either molten metal or continuous casting, with in-depth exposure to the other areas.
• Strong leadership skills (conflict resolution, facilitation, change management skills, decision making, empowerment), preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Proven skills of addressing and teaching small and large groups of employees
• Proven skills in putting together training programs
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good planning and priority setting skills.
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
