The Role

Software Engineers at StoreLab write software both for our products, and support our project- based deliveries to customers. You’ll build features for testing retail customers, designing retail spaces, optimising store layout, communicating stories to customers, and much more. Our clients will use features you work on to change how they do their job. You’ll learn about many aspects of our products and business, and interact with a multi skilled, energetic team. Remote work available.

What we value

• You’re a strong coder. We’re looking for candidates who can understand design intent and translate it into efficient, well commented code, and love doing it in UE4 C++

• Deep understanding of UE4, and experience with Blueprints

• Ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision when required

• Ability to work effectively in mixed teams of technical and non-technical members

• Skilled and comfortable working in a rapidly changing Agile/Scrum environment

• Enjoy talking to customers and stake holders

• Understanding of VR & AR

• An engineering or technical background, preferably in a field like Software Engineering, Mathematics or Physics will be highly regarded

• Unreal Engine 4 is the foundation of most of what we do

• Web development: JavaScript, CSS, angular etc.

• AWS products are the core of our Cloud infrastructure

• .NET / C# is used for many of our companion apps

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Subcontract, Casual

Salary: $66,471.00 – $140,470.00 per year
