PLAATO Technologies Hiring for Software Developer Job at Brighton, England Full Time

We are looking for a JavaScript Developer, a technology enthusiast who has strong experience building modern applications.

As a developer on the team, we would be looking for you to advocate for best practices across the codebase to help us create a world-class IoT platform for the brewing industry.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Create and implement high quality, reusable JavaScript at speed
• Take an active role in new features, taking initiatives from the requirements phase to design, development, testing, deployment, and review
• Constructively advocate for best practices and company standards
• Maintain strong test-driven development practices, including unit tests and integration testing

Our requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a JavaScript Developer
• You must have experience with Responsive Web Design and Single Page Applications
• We use Node, Express, MongoDB, Mongoose, React and React Native in our technology stack. Familiarity with these technologies, along with AWS and DevOps experience, is considered a plus
• Experience with user-centered design
• Experience of working for scale-ups or medium/large companies is a plus;

• An interest in brewing and fermentation is a plus
• Fluent English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
