The Opportunity

We’re on the hunt for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with a flair for customer/client service and a can-do attitude.

This position would suit a candidate that’s looking to gain experience in the recruitment industry (a focus on learning and development is a promise we deliver on!) OR someone who has some experience in recruitment and eager to take on a new challenge.

Based in Melbourne full-time (or part-time, 3 days a week), you’ll be part of a supportive team that will see you working with our clients and providing them with an outsourcing option for all their recruitment needs. We think of ourselves as an extension of their own HR teams – giving you exposure to a range of industries.

As you progress with us, you’ll also have the exciting opportunity to work onsite at one of our key clients’ offices in Inner West Melbourne, playing a pivotal role in all facets of their recruitment process.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering a proactive and consultative approach to managing the recruitment needs and experiences of the HR Team and Hiring Managers;
• Engaging with and managing Stakeholder Relationships;
• Copywriting and strategically placing recruitment advertisements;
• Screening, shortlisting and interviewing candidates;
• Building, nurturing, maintaining and engaging passive talent pools;
• Using our recruitment software technology to its full potential; and
• Reporting on KPIs to ensure consistent and quality delivery of services.

Who we’re looking for

We’re flexible on your level of experience in recruitment. Your stellar communication skills and willingness to learn (regardless of experience level!) will be key to your success.

Here’s the non-negotiables:

• A confident and credible approach to engaging with key stakeholders
• A passion for providing clients with the best service possible
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An adaptable approach to your work and comfortability with change – you’ll be switching between two very different environments throughout the week and must be willing/able to work efficiently in both

Beneficial but not required:

• Experience in delivering end-to-end recruitment processes

The Benefits

In return for your hard work and dedication, your expected first-year earnings will be circa $60,000 – $70,000 (inclusive of incentives).

Our Specialist Teams will provide you with full training in the ‘Scout Talent way’ and will be available to support you in your day to day efforts. Not only will you enjoy exposure to the unique service style that Scout Talent offers within the recruitment market, but you’ll also gain experience working directly with an established SaaS-based organisation.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity that will allow you use and grow your recruitment skills (from copywriting and advertising to shortlisting and selection, to recruitment software).
