Kobalt Music Group Hiring for Finance Assistant Job at London, England Full Time

Joining a Global Finance Central Services team and reporting to the Central Services Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will be part of the team responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and control of the UK & US purchase and sales ledger and the timely settling of invoices and expenses. The assistant will also support the finance team with other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

WHAT DOES A FINANCE ASSISTANT AT KOBALT DO?

• You are recording UK & US invoices received and booking these into the accounting system
• You will be agreeing invoices to purchase orders and arranging payments to suppliers
• You will be paying Kobalt clients when statements are issued
• You will produce timely reports on the purchase ledger
• You are inputting data to the Kobalt in-house royalties database
• You will be preparing bank reconciliations
• Plus any ad-hoc tasks and projects as required

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You have excellent organizational and time management skills as well as great awareness of deadlines and competing priorities
• You are a strong team player and communicator with ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Bonus points for demonstrating strong Excel skills and aptitude for working with large volumes of numerical data
• But most important is that you can adapt to a fast-paced and changing department as well as have an interest in obtaining an ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualification (Kobalt will support you through the qualification and cover any cost of study materials, course fees and exam entry fees plus you’ll be entitled to between 1.5 to 2.5 days paid study leave days for your first attempt at any paper depending on level subject to a limit of ten days in any calendar year)
