Allied is seeking a talented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is part of our HR team and manages the recruiting function at Allied. This role is a mix of full-cycle recruiting and partnering with our hiring managers to create recruiting strategies to attract, engage and retain top talent.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruiting cycle, from identification of needs, sourcing, screening, interview, feedback sharing, to selection, and extending job offers
• Work with managers on job requirements specification
• Research the best job advertising techniques and post job openings
• Screen job applications and resumes and select candidates according to job requirements
• Conduct interviews for all candidates, forward top candidates and make hiring recommendations
• Assist with making job offers and provide benefits overview to candidates
• Develop a comprehensive sourcing plan to create a candidate pool and support workforce diversity utilizing proactive marketing methods as well as engaging passive candidates
• Propose recruiting procedures
• Suggest ways to improve the company’s brand
• Advise hiring managers on proper interviewing methods
• Understand the market for positions, anticipate workforce needs and create strategies for long-term workforce planning
• Participate in network, diversity, marketing, career and job fair events
• Research and coordinate activities with placement vendors as needed
• Collaborate with the HR team to support selected candidates through offer and onboarding
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in a full-cycle recruitment position
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
• Experience in screening and interviewing job candidates
• Experience in advertising agency (media, creative, publicity, etc.) preferred
• Experience managing high-volume recruitment
• International experience preferred
• Excellent project management skills
• Knowledge of labor laws
• Passionate about the candidate experience
• Team player and ability to collaborate across groups effectively
• Strong communication skills
• Strategic and innovative thinker
• Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently
• Experience with the use of applicant tracking software and HR databases (Greenhouse preferred)
• Knowledge of social media and professional networks
• Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
