The purpose of the role is to provide support and report directly to the Financial Controller within the Finance Department while maintaining and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of accounting data, daily finance operation and tasks that are required of the position and within a high growth environment.

What you will do:

• Month end activities including manual journal, GL reconciliation with timeliness and accuracy
• Process monthly payroll for Australia and Singapore employees including relevant lodging payroll related compliance and payroll transactions
• Supporting AP/AR processes including processing vendor invoices, customer billing, bank reconciliations
• Handling internal stakeholder and external clients’ queries to solve all finance related queries
• Assist with the annual audit
• Prepare local and international regulatory compliance including GST, FBT, PRT, BAS and ensure on-time lodgement

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with experience and working towards CPA/CA
• Working experience with finance systems and tooling.
• You’ll have working knowledge of core accounting systems such as Xero and/or Netsuite, and good proficiency in the use of general tooling including MS Excel and Google Suite.
• Experience with process improvement, automation and able to challenge the status quo
• Ability to solve problems through initiative and effective written and verbal communication with relevant stakeholders
• Well developed, collaborative stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

• Reporting to Financial Controller (Kate Alpaugh)
• Work with Finance team locating in Australia and offshore (Dan Shakenovsky, Ketty Hsiao, Julie Islas)
• Engage with external suppliers and clients, and accounting advisers
