Job Scope

As a Co-op Video Codec Engineer, you will be part of a team in video codec design and optimization in NETINT Technologies. You will work closely with architects, algorithm engineers, and other codec engineers in video/image compression and optimization.

Responsibilities

Participate in video/image codec design and write design documents

Develop video/image codec algorithm and optimization.

Debug software and hardware

Conduct software unit test

Write test cases for design verification and compliance tests

Write Python test scripts to automate tests

Qualifications

MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering/Science

Good knowledge on image/video compression and some knowledge on hardware

Proficient in software programming (C/C++/Python)

Hands-on experience in debugging and scripting

Good oral and written skills for communication and documentation

Desirable Skills/Experiences

Experience in signal processing, multimedia, or video/image compression

Experience in video/image quality evaluation
