More about your role
As a HR Officer you will support the effective administration of the employee lifecycle processes ensuring employee starters, leavers and changes are actioned in a timely and accurate manner against agreed Service Level Agreements. Through your excellent commitment to delivering a first-class customer service you will ensure process guidance is provided to employees and line managers in line with existing policies and procedures and with consideration to current employment legislation.
This role is a fixed term position for 6 months based in Preston allowing you to collaborate with the People Services team. As we move out of lockdown, we are trialling hybrid working, so you will be able to split your time between home and the office.

More about you
You will have previous experience working within a busy and fast-paced administrative environment where you have had to process a high volume of work. You should demonstrate experience of working in line to strict deadlines, whilst developing positive relationships with customers, together with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
The People Services team are a supportive team that work well together and regularly go the extra mile for each other and customers alike. We welcome applications from people who have a sense of fun, a positive outlook, and the ability to work hard. Ideally you will have previous experience working within a HR department and have CIPD certification and basic knowledge of employment law.
It is critical that you understand the importance of key factors such as data protection compliance, confidentiality and that personal integrity is paramount in all that you do.
