ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains effective working relationships with executives to ensure staffing coverage of high priority, complex needs.
Develops and implements, under minimal supervision, recruiting/sourcing strategies and processes to support the hiring and business needs on a global level.
Recommends qualified candidates to hiring leaders for full-time professional and technical positions after interviewing candidates and assessing strength of qualifications against job requirements. May extend job offer and negotiate terms.
Monitors staffing processes to ensure regulatory compliance. Supports internal job posting and transfers program. Coordinates the development of recruitment advertising and related strategy.
Acts as backup support to other recruiting staff, including the Manager.
Recommends process enhancements based on analysis of quarterly staffing summary reports & KPIs.
Verifies pre-employment hiring documentation and reviews hiring decision. Evaluates and adjudicates pre-employment background checks.
Consults and trains managers and employees on staffing processes, regulatory compliance and career planning.
Leads key initiatives and manages larger scale/impact programs, including diversity initiatives, transitions and special interest areas.
Identifies and develops sources for qualified candidates by establishing relationships with placement agencies, colleges, universities, technical schools, diversity community agencies, etc.
Actively source talent within the Lab Equipment space and develop talent pipeline to support future growth of business.
Attend targeted networking and professional organization events to attract talent.
Utilize key metrics to strategize Talent Acquisition game plan.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university in human resources or related field or comparable combination of education and experience. Minimum of 7 years of full lifecycle staffing or recruiting required.
Strongly prefer candidates with key contacts and Talent Acquisition experience within the Life Sciences Lab Equipment industry.
Must hold experience with program management in Talent Acquisition and Global-level recruiting experience.
Solutions-oriented and consultative.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, salaries and commissions.

Ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results. Ability to solve problems involving several options. Ability to research information and analyze data, arrive at valid conclusions and make recommendations and plan of action.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Fully competent in specific HR concepts with emphasis on staffing processes, internal HR policies, employment law and interviewing techniques or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities. Strong personal computer skills using Microsoft Office, Internet software, and human resources information system (HRIS) and applicant tracking system (ATS) applications. Demonstrated knowledge of basic human resource functions such as compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, training and development.
