About the role

The growth of our business has given us the opportunity to restructure our team, which includes this newly created position.

Your role will work closely with our Senior Finance Manager for Supply Chain, to run and create reports, and present data in a meaningful way. Your role will provide analysis on costs and accruals/prepayments for projects across our business.

You will also support the month end project accounting processes and invoice reconciliations.

Whilst some of our reports are already constructed, you will also need to build your own. This will require pulling information from different systems, and proactively locating data too

Key responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:

• Prepare month end analysis and coordinate month close with accounting team to ensure accurate financials across brands.
• Support in the monthly brand profitability analysis, pulling data from various systems, production of reports.
• Support the Budgeting and Forecasting Process for the Operations Business
• Tracking of Capex to ensure we stay within budget
• Work to continuously improve systems and processes
• Leveraging data to drive accountability, commitment, and business improvements with stakeholders.
• Provide analysis to support recommendations regarding financial modeling and responsible for implementing changes with a continuous improvement mindset
• Accountable for the calculation of a standard costing, recalibrating at regular intervals based on business performance and provide monthly variance analysis
• Questioning & challenging key stakeholders where appropriate to identify opportunities ensuring profitability back in line with targets

About you

What you don’t know about Excel isn’t worth knowing. You’re comfortable with Pivot Tables, VLookups, Index/Match formulae, complex databases, the works!
You may be working towards a professional accounting qualification already, or this may be in your plan for the future. Whatever your situation, we’re happy to consider supporting your studies.
