ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The role is responsible for developing, delivering and monitoring initiatives to execute the global diversity and inclusion agenda and, embedding agreed practices either directly or through functional/regional leads.
Reports to: Group Head of Talent Management and Diversity & Inclusion
Geographic Scope: Global
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Lead and execute global Diversity & Inclusion initiatives under the Ownership and Accountability pillar, which would include:
developing the regular management board reporting updates and insights against our D&I strategic actions and global ambitions
analysing trends and identifying potential gaps which would inform relevant actions
leading global communication and engagements with Regional Talent Managers and Centre Senior HRBPs to review progress on D&I KPIs, glidepath submissions and relevant D&I actions for DRBUs/Regions/Functions
with the help of our People and Organisational Analytics team, use organisational data to understand, review and address areas of under-representation, creating new initiatives and programmes at a Group level
supporting the Group Head of Talent Management and D&I in global roll out of strategic automation projects and process improvement initiatives e.g., automating D&I analytics toolkit
Support the Group D&I team in global roll out of specific D&I initiatives under the Building diverse talent pipelines and Creating Enablers pillars e.g., designing and organizing any training and awareness programmes, leading global communication messages or campaigns
Research external best practices in diversity initiatives and use those findings to inform decisions
Acts as an interface between business units and specialised LEX, Finance and DBS functions as required.

Do you have hands on experience of reviewing data analytics, identifying trends and insights?
Do you have experience of design and implementation of global projects?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Extensive experience in a Global CPG or a large-scale organisation, with senior stakeholder management and project management experience and skills
Previous hands-on experience in leading discussions and priorities linked to data analytics and insights, Diversity & Inclusion practices, proficient in Ms Excel and PowerPoint
Good commercial awareness and strong understanding of employee life cycle and talent flow
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior and other levels of staff in all departments and companies both within the Group and externally.

The ability and confidence to navigate through complexity and ambiguity
Credibility within the community to engage and influence
Experience of operating in a highly matrix organization
Ability to work independently under general guidance
Degree Educated

Good understanding of BAT strategy and Group D&I ambition/KPIs
