ECMS Hiring for Certificate III & Diploma Educator – Thinking Kids Children’s Centre Job at Melbourne Full Time

We are seeking an enthusiastic Certificate III or Diploma Educator to join the team at Thinking Kids Children’s Centre!

Thinking Kids Children’s Centre is a state-of-the-art childcare centre situated near the iconic Melbourne Zoo in Parkville. We deliver high-quality and inclusive childcare for children from birth to five years. Our team of nurturing and experienced educators partner with parents to develop a play-based learning program that helps children realise their potential.

This is a full-time position working 38 hours a week, plus an additional 2 hours to allow for a monthly RDO. This is a fixed-term role for 6 months with the option of working casually at ALL ECMS services after the terms of the contract end!

What will you do?

• Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
• Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community
• Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation
• Build positive behaviour guidance strategies and provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children’s learning
• Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis

More about you!

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
• Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard
• Current Working with Children’s Check
• Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
