We currently have a great opportunity for a Treasury Dealer to join the Qudos Bank, this role reporting directly to the Treasurer will be responsible for funding on-balance sheet activities, maintaining contingency funding sources such as the self-securitisation programme, cash flow, liquidity and counterparty limit monitoring and reporting, assisting managing the investment portfolio, interest rate risk and maintaining relationships with institutional clients and rating agencies.

This position would suit a self-starter with a can-do attitude who is keen to learn and develop their skills in the world of Treasury. The Treasury function sits within Qudos Banks Finance function, who are a down to earth team who enjoy celebrating achievements and milestones together.

In this role your primary responsibilities include the following:

• Prepare daily cash flow, liquidity and counterparty limit reporting;
• Assist in the preparation of monthly Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) reporting;
• Assist in the preparation of monthly interest rate risk reports including value at risk and gap reports;
• Assist in maintaining the Visual Risk Treasury system;
• Assist in maintaining the self-securitisation programme, including monthly reporting;
• Act as a back-up for the Treasurer including daily investments decisions and wholesale debt issuance; and
• Assist the Treasurer in achieving strategic objectives through assistance in completing project work

The ideal candidate

• Tertiary Qualified in an Accounting, Economics or Finance related degree
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
• Someone who is self-motivated, able to meet deadlines and has an ‘eye for detail’.
• Proficient in office productivity suites (for example Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Ability to conduct scenario research using tools such as Google
• Solid understanding of mathematical concepts
