Selby’s Soil Erosion Control Hiring for Accounting Manager Job at Newcastle, CA Full Time

Selby’s Soil Erosion Control or SSEC is seeking an accounting manager to join our Newcastle based construction business. SSEC specializes in hydroseeding and stormwater pollution prevention solutions. We work with public and private organizations on a wide variety of project types from levees, fire restoration, wetland mitigation, freeways, airports, and much more. Currently we have our main corporate office in Newcastle with a secondary office Coeur d’Alene Idaho.

Our accounting team is small but growing. The team has four personnel including the CFO at our local Newcastle office and one team member in our Coeur d’Alene office. Members of the team wear many hats amongst their core job responsibilities.

Job duties and expectations will include:

• Help with processing weekly payroll – work with our payroll manager
• Month and year end closing
• Fixed asset reconciliation
• Bank reconciliations
• Budgeting and financial reporting
• Revenue and expenditure analysis
• Various other tasks
