We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our Sanitation Supervisor.
Job Description
Reporting to the Plant Manager, this person will be responsible for the successful operation of the night shift sanitation teams in our allergen free facilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Demonstrate and uphold Riverside Natural Foods’ Core Values

RESPECT Riverside Natural Foods Sanitation Program
Oversee clean up/sanitation activities of all equipment and facilities in production & warehouse areas and general cleaning in office areas
Supervise an in-house sanitation TEAM of 8 – 12 people
Assign work duty assignments, monitor team performance
Take OWNERSHIP to inspect plant/equipment/warehouse to confirm and evaluate cleaning/sanitation is in compliance with Sanitation Program
Assist in training employees to complete duties as per operational standards/procedures
Monitor/maintain sanitation records and ensure record keeping for sanitation and all equipment/chemicals is up to date
Assist in review and improvement of Sanitation and HACCP programs
Demonstrate TEAMWORK and collaboration, work with other plant team members to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Keeps the work atmosphere FUN by keeping it light and welcoming
Other duties as assigned, including filing and record keeping
Education & Qualifications
Degree or diploma in a related field (or equivalent education and experience)
3 – 5 years’ sanitation experience in the food industry/similar manufacturing environment
Skills & Abilities
Self starter with a high level of OWNERSHIP and flexibility, strong sense of urgency
Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Exceptional time management and organizational skills, self-starter with a high level of initiative and ADAPTABILITY
Demonstrates HUMILITY throughout the company on a daily basis
Aptitude to exhibit, RESPECT and protect Riverside’s Core Values in a changing environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good computer skills, Intermediate level Microsoft Office Word & Excel
Must be available to work night shift
