Matchtech Looking for Site Engineer (Highways) at Scotch Corner, North Yorkshire Full Time

Matchtech are excited to be working alongside a major Highways contractor in North Yorkshire, and as result we have a live requirement for an experienced Site Engineer.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

You will working alongside a Site Agent to deliver small work packages (predominantly drainage & resurfacing) on the A66 near Sedbury Layby. Will be carrying out site and condition surveys.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following:

• Proven experience in delivering Highway/Civil Engineering Contracts

• Technical knowledge related to highways.

• Aware of responsibilities under CDM Regulations and other relevant Health and Safety Legislation.

• Ability to work alone or to lead a project team

• Experience in the use of computers, Microsoft Office, Autocad and other bespoke packages used in highways design.

Must have highways experience White CSCS & SSSTS (equivalent or greater required) Working hours will vary between 8pm to 6am. Weekend work likely to be included.
