The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in our Melbourne Head Office.

Working within our Financial Services team, working closely with one of our commercial business units, you will deliver financial accounting information, produce routine reporting for business performance management, and deliver on financial and management accounting responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build their career within an internal finance team and get an opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete the Month End processes including the preparation of journals
• Coordinate Corporate cost allocations & Intercompany recharge processes
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Support the preparation of routine Management Reporting including associated variance analysis
• Support Finance Business Partner with ad-hoc business queries
• Support the preparation of Forecasts and Annual Budget
• Identify areas of continuous improvements and executing accordingly

Skills & Experience

You will be degree qualified, either CPA or CA, with demonstrated work experience (+5 years) in financial and management accounting in an international environment, proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to adapt to a continually changing environment and new ways of working. You will be a proficient SAP user, with intermediate level Excel skills, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
