We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Accountant, CMU Development Finance to join our Sydney Head Office team. Your role will involve providing support to C&MU Development finance team during Mirvac Next Development Deployment

This is a 9 Month Fixed Term Full Time Contract

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Work closely with the C&MU Financial accounting team to assist with the implementation of new accounting system (ERP) ‘Yardi’ for the development business.

Assisting with data migration and GL reallocation review activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of data migration from old to new systems.

Assisting with month end processes to ensure integrity of the balance sheet, profit, and loss and cashflow. These will include the review of fixed asset register, prepayment schedule, bank reconciliation files, monthly IV reporting packs, monthly rent true up files and BAS returns

Completing ad-hoc requests that are managed by the Financial Accounting function for C&MU

Ensuring compliance with internal controls such as monthly reconciliation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet

Preparing variance analysis and other ad-hoc analysis as required by C&MU Finance team.

Working closely with our accounting team based in Manila (MSC) on a regular basis

Identifying opportunities and supporting the automation of processes

High level computer literacy / strong excel skills

Understanding of the property industry / commercial property development

High level communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills

Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
