Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties

• Support residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
• Help in the preparation and serving of meals, adhering to dietary requirements outlined in care plans
• Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure personalised care
• Follow care plans meticulously to meet individual needs and preferences
• Support residents in engaging in social activities and promote their overall well-being
• Ensure a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Drive clients when necessary, ensuring timely appointments and outings

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for all new staff
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Basic IT literacy to update records and access relevant information efficiently
• Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation needs
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ health and well-being
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
• Flexibility to adapt to different shifts as needed
