Our government client based in Perth is currently seeking a driven Finance and Business Analyst.
Your new company
Our client requires a Finance and Business Analyst to assist in their team. The position is looking for an immediate start.
Your new role
As a Finance and Business Analyst your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with cash management and statutory reporting
- Assisting in the preparation of month end journals, bank reconciliations and accruals
- Undertaking ledger analysis
- Contributing to the development of business plans, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor and report on divisional financial performance
What you’ll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:
- Experience in a large complex financial environment
- Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards
- Knowledge of the development of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Strong reporting and analytical skills
- Well-developed organizational and problem-solving skills
