The Bodleian Libraries are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide administrative support and facilitation to one or more specified members of the Bodleian Libraries Executive, the senior management team of the Bodleian Libraries.
You will act as the first point of contact and effectively deal with all incoming correspondence, emails and telephone calls for your Executive Member. As well as managing diaries and providing administrative support for meetings, you will prepare reports, take minutes of meetings and provide administrative support on financial matters such as expenses. In addition you will organise visits, conferences and other events including making complex UK and international travel arrangements.
You will have previous senior PA experience and possess excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills. You will have the ability to multi-task and to manage a varied and busy workload, working both independently and as part of a team. Experience of complex diary management and Microsoft Office applications is also essential, as is a flexible approach to work and high standard of literacy and numeracy.
This post is a full time, permanent appointment.
