This is a fixed-term maternity contract with an expected duration of 12 months.

When it comes to HR, this role will give you a taste of everything, including:

• Partnering with business leaders in relation to all areas of HR including performance management, recruitment, onboarding, training, benefits, engagement and retention
• Contributing towards our collaborative organisational culture by developing and implementing engagement programs and initiatives and actively role modelling our values. To do this, it’s not just about sitting behind a desk, it’s about proactively engaging with our team in their work environment
• Managing workers compensation claims and return to work
• Coordinating employment contracts
• Coordination of our employee recognition program
• Maintaining our HRIS

About you

Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about delivering memorable experiences for managers, employees and customers. You will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources.
• Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR position
• The ability to take off the “corporate hat” and be agile in an industry that is continually evolving. For us there is no manual or procedure that tells us how to do our job, we only have a guide to help our team be successful, the rest is up to you.
• Previous experience working with a HRIS
• The ability to build trust, credibility and confidence of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
• Confidence in providing sound HR advice to managers and employees
• Experience interpreting the various industrial instruments
• Excellent organisational and administration skills, with a high level of attention to detail
• The ability to multi task and manage competing priorities
