Role description:
This role sits within LDC Finance, the team are responsible for the financial operation, financial reporting, treasury and regulatory reporting for the LDC Group.
As Finance Accounts Assistant, you’ll be responsible for Accounts Receivable: processing invoices in accordance to underlying legal documentation, issuing sales invoices and statements in a timely manner. Credit control: daily monitoring of our dedicated accounts mailbox and dealing with queries. Developing a rapport with customer base and chasing overdue invoices and Accounts Payable: processing invoices and expenses in a timely manner whilst operating in stringent control environment.
Responsibilities also include:
Assistance in financial accounting, month end processes, reconciliations and closing of ledgers.
Assisting in producing monthly management accounts to senior management and other stakeholder within LBG.
Preparing year end statutory financial statements and liaising with external auditors to address any queries.
Reporting to and assisting the Financial Controller and the wider business on ad hoc projects
About you:
You’ll be at least a part qualified accountant.
Experience in an accounts assistant role of similar would be preferable but not required.
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
Good computer literacy and excel skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team whilst using own initiative.
High levels of attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
