Novax Recruitment Hiring for Accountant Job at Lambeth, England Full Time

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking an Accountant based in the Lambeth area. This position is contracted for a minimum 6 months with scope for extension. The client can accommodate remote working, with an initial visit to the clients office to collect work equipment.

Responsibilities are as follows:

• Closing the Accounts / Year-End proficiency without the need for close supervision, especially Housing General Fund and Housing Revenue Account
• Close attention to detail with accurate results for forensic style reconciliations of Northgate Housing to Oracle Financials
• Practical working knowledge of Northgate and how to interrogate it for audit queries and reconciliation purposes
• Working knowledge of Tenant Management Organisations, their funding regime and how to facilitate a professional finance client function for them
• Practical working knowledge of Power BI and improving the standard of budget monitoring and data analysis through the creation of bespoke reports

Experience required:

• Relevant professional Accounting qualification
• Experience in a similar role for a period of 5 years or more
• Public sector Accounting experience
