FINANCIAL ANALYST FP & A

The role is primarily responsible for preparing the annual budgeting and forecasting process, monthly group forecasts, preparing analysis for the monthly management pack and to undertake commercial projects.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for co-ordinating the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working with stores, head office cost controllers and merchandisers
• Preparing the monthly group rolling forecast, comparing to budget and last year
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly management pack, including the review and analysis of month-end results and international sales reporting
• Supporting Group Accountant with preparing Statutory accounts and other financial reporting
• Undertaking ad hoc analytical work and business cases as requested
• Supporting the business on financial modelling and analysis of larger scale investment projects
• Assist in the year-end process and preparation of information for external auditors
• Provide mentoring and senior finance support to the financial accounting team

Skills and experience you need:

List specific professional qualifications and/or experience required

• Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• 2+ years PQE
• Advanced excel
• Strong written communication and analytical skills
• Retail experience is preferable
