The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an In-House Talent Acquisition Partner to join our HR team. Having been recently acquired by Mitsubishi, we are in a period of significant growth. We want someone who is determined, enthusiastic, professional and passionate and who can help us succeed in finding great talent to build our team.

Our Talent Acquisition Partner will have an excellent customer service ethos, a great work ethic and be professional, effective and efficient in the way that they work. They will be part of an energetic, driven, friendly and highly committed team.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and implement talent acquisition strategies to ensure we acquire the best talent for SGS.
• Source and appoint the right people to meet the business needs of today, and the strategic needs of the future.
• Manage candidates and support hiring managers through all aspects of the recruitment process, from determining the most appropriate selection/assessment methods, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews, providing candidate feedback, making offers and supporting, where appropriate, through the onboarding process.
• Proactively headhunt for talent, and fill defined roles directly to control process and cost
• Help to determine competitive rates of pay for roles across our organisation, both in the UK and the US
• Guide, support, train and assist hiring managers through the assessment & selection process, ensuring compliance, avoiding bias and that the appropriate selection methods are used to drive objective decision making

• Ideally, at least 3 years’ previous experience operating in an In-House Talent Acquisition role or a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in technology recruitment
• Dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for every candidate
• Excellent, proactive networker, with an established network especially in technology recruitment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ideally, you’ll have experience of creating resourcing strategies and managing internal and external selection processes
• Solid track record in headhunting, and highly skilled in making and managing direct approaches.
• Strong supplier management skills
• Strong understanding and awareness of GDPR legislation and the impact of this on the recruitment process
• Ability to work quickly to high standards and under pressure
• Experience of using LinkedIn and other methods of social media candidate identification and attraction tools
• Excellent commercial mind, with the ability to spot opportunities for SGS to make cost savings in the recruitment process, and simultaneously enhance their ability to attract top talent
