Boston Group Hiring for Accounting/Finance Admin Job at Medford, MA Full Time

JOB TITLE:

Accounting/Finance Admin

REPORTS TO:

CFO

PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE:

Support the accounting team to insure accurately and timely reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Process month end journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts

· Process sales and use tax returns for various states, maintain exemption certificates.

· Maintain cash register, process remote check deposits.

· Back-up for payroll using Paycom and Shop Vue

· Support Accounting manager and CFO with external Auditor requests.

· Update weekly reporting for sales and inventory.

· Onboarding new employees and benefit administration.

· Perform administrative tasks to support accounting department.

· Other duties as assigned.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially excel.
• ERP software experience preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 1-3 years accounting experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
