General Assembly Pizza Hiring for Cleaner / Sanitation Worker ($18/hr+benefits) at Woodbridge, ON Full Time

IN THIS ROLE

We make delicious pizzas with the help of an amazing team. GA Pizza is looking for a Cleaner/ Sanitation worker to join our sanitation team and perform tasks related to sanitation, including following cleaning and sanitation protocols, washing equipment and general janitorial duties. The schedule is Mon-Fri afternoon and evening time. We are a 2-minute walk to public transport and have free parking available.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow sanitation procedures and execute schedule

Perform all janitorial duties

Learn on the job (general manufacturing practices – GMPs) & WHMIS

Show up on time to scheduled shift

Sanitizing & cleaning general production as well as shared office spaces

Maintain refills for wellness areas (soap and sanitizer dispensers)

Learn work instructions and standard sanitation operating procedures

Maintain housekeeping & janitorial standards in shared spaces

QUALIFICATIONS

No experience necessary, we will teach you everything you need to know, but if you have experience in sanitation or working in a food manufacturing environment is a plus

Ability to perform a full range of motion (lifting, crouching, bending etc.) is a must

Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs

Knowledge of WHMIS and GMP (a plus)

Team player, you like working with others and have a positive attitude

COMPENSATION

$18 per hour aprox.

40 hr/week + 4% vacation pay
