Job Summary:
ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Summer Student to join as a Chemical Production Labourer at our North Vancouver site! Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the safe, efficient and environmentally sound operation of their specific area while working on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. You must have the ability to quickly respond to plant upsets and emergency situations. The length of the contract will be from April 1st, 2022 to August 31st, 2022.

Key Attributes/Qualifications:

• You a registered as a fulltime student and you are seeking summer employment
• You have strong communication skills and work well in a team environment.
• Preference will be given to candidates who also have previous experience in a Chemical/Industrial manufacturing environment and have forklift experience.
• Previous forklift experience with valid certification is an asset
• You are a strong team player capable of working with a variety of groups
• Self-motivated, who can work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Capable of working a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

Hourly Rate: $ 42.69
