Highly successful company with proven history as an award winning full service steel machining / steel manufacturing business based in Rockea is looking a motivated person to join their growing drafting team.

About the role

We have a permanent full-time position available for a Draftsperson to join the team in the office in Rocklea, Queensland. Using Autocad Or Inventor you would be involved in producing 3D drawings for steel products used in heavy or sheet metal applications.

This role will suit a trade qualified professional looking to either get off the tools and into an office setting OR to continue to grow their career pathway into a more senior position.

Requirements for this role

• The successful applicant MUST be a qualified tradesperson (Boilermaker Or Sheetmetal Tradesperson) with experience in heavy or light metal fabrication.
• Proficient in the use of computer and software programs
• Excellent communicator with good time management skills
• Experience with Autocad and Inventor is advantageous
• Possesses a working knowledge of 3D Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM)
