Senior Engineer / Project Manager – Bristol

INFORM3 are recruiting a Senior Engineer / Project Manager to complete civil packages on a multi-million commercial development in Bristol. The client is interested in candidates with a strong civils background, confident in managing site engineers and site teams, and ensuring the project is completed within the given timeframe. The successful candidate will be part of a long established Civil Engineering Contractor that has expanded rapidly and continually seeking to expand.

Senior Engineer / Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the Contracts Manager
• Plan and oversee Projects from conception to completion
• Establish budgets and timelines within the Project Plan
• Manage and coordinate Engineers, Foremen and Site Operatives
• Regularly check quality standards, completing site inspections on workmanship
• Liaise with the Client, responding to any requirements or queries
• Attend Client Meetings continually developing a working relationship
• Ensure all site teams adhere to health & safety regulations at all times
• Coordinate Site Meetings discussing any pressing issues
• Attend Senior Management meetings providing reports

Senior Engineer / Project Manager Specification:

• Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree
• 6 plus years’ experience
• Experience in successful managing Civil projects
• Previous experience mentoring and coordinating Civil Engineers, Foremen and Site Operatives
• High attention to detail
• Highly organised and motivated to succeed
• Full driving licence
