Missouri River Ranch, LLC Hiring for Sous Chef at Craig, Montana Full Time

MRR is looking for a Sous Chef to take us to the next level.  Wild game, creative appetizers, elegant desserts.  Our Sous Chef will have the freedom to explore their limits while living in an idyllic setting.

Requirements, responsibilities, and duties:

• (Some) Experience in a small lodge and/or guest ranch environment
• A passion for great food and presentation
• Willingness to work with non-traditional suppliers in a semi-remote location
• Create breakfast, dinner, and occasional lunch
• Assist Executive Chef with flexible menu utilizing seasonal foods and accommodating fluctuating service levels
• Ensure safety and sanitation practices are followed
• Interact with guests while working in an open kitchen
• Develop and maintain a friendly, high energy work environment
• Our season runs through October 31, 2022
• 10 days on, 2.5 days off (guaranteed; other additional time off based on scheduling)

We are a small property.  When necessary, all employees may be asked to assist in responsibilities outside of their regular job description. Teamwork and attitude are integral to our success.  We work hard and have fun.

Housing and meals on property are available for this position. Salary is DOE, gratuities are additional (~$1,000/month).

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.
• The employee must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time (up to eight hours) and the ability to push/pull up to fifty pounds.
