We require a highly motivated, customer service driven IT Helpdesk Support person to join our IT team based at the company’s head office at Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. This full time role is a “hands on” position requiring the ability to work independently, while working as an active team member of the IT team.

About the role: *
This role will assist in the delivery of IT Systems (communications, applications and hardware) services for the company. The role reports to the IT Systems Administrator and will be required to assist in the support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and systems. This role provides a great opportunity for you to showcase your varied IT skills and to be part of a growing global business.

Here’s what you will be doing: *

• Provide Helpdesk services for all infrastructure, applications and communication systems
• Assist with the management of all PABX, Servers, PC’s, Printers, network hardware & equipment
• Ensure network connectivity of all workstations
• Field incoming help requests from end users via telephone, e-mail & call logging system
• Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information & nature of problem or issue
• Provide a high level of customer service to all users
• Prioritise & maintain a schedule of tasks, escalating issues to the IT Systems Administrator when required
• Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, & configuring systems & applications

To be successful in this role you will need:

• An understanding of networks (wired/wireless), routers, switches, pc hardware etc
• Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems including Windows 10 and Server 2016 and above.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suites including Office 2016 and above
• Exceptional customer service skills, highly self-motivated and strong attention to detail
• Ability to absorb & retain information quickly & operate with minimal supervision
• Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required
• A drivers license
• Ability to travel
