Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine has over 100 years of history and expertise in navigation and are a major global provider of navigation solutions, including radars, compass systems, steering systems, speed logs, integrated bridge and control systems as well as providing 24/7 support to all of our customers.
We have a great opportunity for a recent graduate to gain industry experience within our Commercial Engineering team. You will be involved in VisionMaster Software development, Continuous Improvement and Support/Maintenance of our Engineering Tools (e.g. JIRA and Confluence).
You will learn how full-lifecycle product development works in the real-world, with an agile development process, and be able to put into practice all the skills that you’ve learnt on your course.

Skills & Experience


Essential:
  • Software Development experience (preferably in C# or Java)
  • Excellent communicator (both verbally and in written form)
  • Systematic and good at solving problems
  • Good team worker, but able to work independently where required.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (particularly JIRA and Confluence)
  • Experience with Windows Forms
  • Understanding of Design Patterns and Software Design methods.
