Page Personnel have partnered with a public sector organisation, recruiting for several Financial Management and Reporting positions to join the centralised Financial Management Team based in Leeds.This role will involve providing a customer focused finance management, providing timely and accurate financial information, the Financial Management Team provide dedicated support Directors to make effective decisions within financial constraints.

The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering a range of areas of responsibility including:

• Managing and leading a small team, providing direction, support and development to the team to deliver objectives;
• Lead on providing high quality financial reports which present and analyse the organisation’s financial position and report the financial position to the Executive Committee;
• Advising business on effective recording and management of specialist finance areas e.g. contingent liabilities, provisions, investments;
• Providing financial support on deep dives and problem solving, working closely with Finance Business Partners;
• Liaising with the Financial Accounting team to ensure all accounting entries are completed correctly and working papers are produced for analytical review and audit;
• Ensuring all requisition and receipting for goods and services from the business are processed promptly and in line with the agreed Service Level Agreement and company policy.
