Wellington Professional Recruitment Looking for Revit Technician (Structural) at Belfast, County Antrim Full Time

As Revit Technician you will join one of Belfast’s leading Architectural and Engineering Consultancy firms, supporting a multidisciplinary team in delivering projects throughout Northern Ireland and the UK. Based in East Belfast and reporting to Senior Engineers and Architects you will work on a variety of building and engineering projects and enjoy a level of autonomy and responsibility. Our client will fully support Continued Professional Development and as such training will be given to further develop your skills.

They successfully deliver prestigious construction projects within Education, Leisure, Infrastructure (Road and Water), Residential, Environmental and Commercial sectors

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a member of the Architectural / Engineering Team, you will undertake the following duties:

• Preparing conceptual, schematic and detailed design solutions for various elements of architectural engineering projects such as structural steel frame general arrangements, floor slabs and foundations etc.
• Liaising and co-ordinating with other design team members, both in-house, other offices and/or external consultants.
• Attending design team meetings and client liaison meetings as appropriate.
• Assisting in the preparation of drawing lists, programmes, specifications and progress reports using Microsoft Office software.
• Co-operating with site supervisory resources.

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:

• Applicants must have a third level qualification in a related construction or architectural discipline.
• Circa 4-5 years post graduate industry experience in a similar Revit Technician role within a similar environment.
• 2D AutoCAD skills, experience with specialised software such as Cads RC or Revit would be desirable, however further training can be provided.
• Be able to work effectively under pressure, to deadlines and as part of a team.
