• Clerical/accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, accounts payable,

accounts receivable or related financial area.

• Contacts other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems.
• Works with internal and external personnel or resources to adjust systemic issues in order to improve

effectiveness and efficiency of processes for the department.

• Writes and updates standard work instructions for processes.
• Performs analysis of complex issues encountered and resolves appropriately.
• Performs computer tasks including complex word processing and spreadsheet manipulation, as well as utilizing

complex software packages.

• Handles complex special administrative projects/accounts that are essential to the department and/or the

Company.

• Completes month-end processes, prepares supporting documentation for activities/adjustments requiring analysis

and judgement.

• Performs related work as assigned.
• Regular attendance in the workplace is required for interaction with others and to support teamwork.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to resolve routine and non-routine questions and

problems.

• Possess a high level of attention to detail when inputting and verifying data to ensure accurate records.
• Broad knowledge of administrative systems and procedures including managing files and records, word

processing, utilizing a variety of complex software packages, etc.

• An Associate’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
• This is an entry-level position requiring no prior work experience. However, one or more years of related work experience is preferred.
