Mulholland Security Centers is a gate manufacturing company located in Canoga Park, CA. We are in search for a full time Bookkeeper/ Accounting to take on our day to day accounting needs. We are a growing and expanding company with Growth Potential. Candidates local to Canoga Park area a plus.

General Ledger Accounting

• Reconcile Bank & credit card accounts monthly
• Control & Management of Credit Cards
• Analyze revenue and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately
• Assist with Month End Close
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report variances
• Assist with financial audits
• Sales & use tax returns
• Assist with documenting accounting processes and controls

Accounts Receivable Management

• Enter A/R payments
• Complete A/R tasks
• Manage A/R Aging, Collections & Apply Payments
• Assist with auditing records with other departments

Accounts Payable Management

• Enter A/P as needed
• Reconcile vendor accounts as needed
• Manage Invoice entry, verification, and payments
• Manage A/P Aging
• Manage 1099 Preparation
• Reconcile AP and open PO’s

Payroll & HR

• Manage payroll processing through ADP
• Manage employee times through T-sheets
• Prepare new employee paperwork
• Ensure all required employee paperwork are on file.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Accounting experience & Bookkeeping
• Strong technical accounting background
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills
• Strong organization skills
• Experience with ERP system a plus
