Accounting specialist. Growing CPA firm has opening for accountant that has experience providing multiple clients for financial statement preparation. Must have experience with accounting and payroll processing. Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly reports and sales tax reports. Assist with payroll processing.

Create financial statements from various client records; bank statements, ledgers, credit cards and other data forms.

-Perform full charge bookkeeping functions on several different clients.

-Strong accounting knowledge is required; knowledge in tax is a plus.

-Must have a strong knowledge in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office software (Experience in Lacerte, Accountants World is a plus)

-Payroll services including deductions, taxes, garnishments, quarterly and year end reporting.

-Month end closing processes including bank account reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations, and sales tax liability reports and payments.

-Must have outstanding customer service.

-Excellent organizational and time management skills; accuracy and attention to detail.

-Be able to work independently with very little supervision.

-Must be able to multi-task; need strong overall computer skills.

-Excellent verbal and written English ability.

-Strict confidentiality required.

-Must have at least 2 years of full charge bookkeeping or payroll experience. BA Degree in accounting is strongly desired, minimum of an AA Degree in accounting is required.’
