JOB TITLE: Accountant

Information about the Company: Cenveo, a world leader in the management and distribution of print and related offerings is hiring immediately for an Entry Level Accountant preferably with some experience in a manufacturing setting for its envelope plant in Mount Pleasant, PA.

Entry Level Accountant Responsibilities & Daily Duties:

Under minimal supervision, performs a wide variety of advanced clerical and accounting functions in general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory control or related financial areas.

• Maintains accounting records and prepares reports on inventory control.
• Assists in preparing, adjusting and closing journal entries.
• Analyzes/Reconciles any inconsistencies between manual and computerized systems.
• Review transactions for completeness, accuracy and proper authorization.
• Communicates with vendors/customers/internal departments to maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Participates in physical inventories / assists with daily cycle counts / inventory control.
• Responsible for preparation and analysis of inventory receipts, usage, adjustments, and cycle counts.
• Analyzes general ledger entries and prepares appropriate reconciliations.
• Variance analysis / cost savings tracking
• Other duties and assignments as required.

Entry Level Accountant Requirements & Qualifications:

• This is an exempt level position at 50-53K annually
• Associate’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Typically possesses a minimum of 12 months of relevant work experience
• Relevant technical knowledge such as the ability to read/analyze/interpret numerical data.
• Solid communication skills including written, verbal, presentation, and active listening skills.
• Develops solutions requiring analysis and research.
• Responsible for critical work/projects performed within a broader technical and business context.
• Ability to effectively present information and response to questions from management, customers and employees.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills preferred – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook

Entry Level Accountant Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Environment is typically general office, though the incumbent may spend short periods in the manufacturing/ warehouse environments with exposure including but not limited to dust, dirt, high noise levels, and variations in temperature.
• Occasional exposure to one or more unpleasant or hazardous conditions 6-20% of work time.
